Velocity MSC Forms Business Partnership with G6 Hospitality

By Luke Bellos

IT managed services company Velocity recently announced a new partnership with G6 Hospitality to bring digital signage to 110 franchise locations.

G6 sought help from Velocityin order to offer hotel guests a high-tech, informative resource for hotel service information and community updates. As part of this new working relationship, Velocity intends to not only install the digital advertising screens for each G6 branch, but will also offer  management and technical support to ensure proper quality and functionality.

The partnership will also enable G6 to have full access to Velocity’s content management platform, offering franchisees the ability to create additional revenue streams through independent advertising endeavours.

"G6 is a leading hotel operator and a valued customer. We are eager to build upon our working relationship by providing a unique digital signage solution that allows G6 to enhance its guest experiences. We look forward to adding G6 to our existing hospitality network and growing our presence in the sector by creating additional opportunities for advertisers to reach hotel guests," said Greg Kiley, Chairman and CEO of Velocity.

This deal could prove to be incredibly valuable to the reopening hospitality sector, which took a serious hit after pandemic travel restrictions halted the majority of hotel customer traffic. Now that guests are flocking back for both business and vacation trips, G6 representatives can now encourage potential advertisers to capitalize on a new wave of visitors.

"We look forward to expanding our relationship with Velocity by leveraging their digital signage platform to enable an efficient and flexible way to communicate with our guests while providing another revenue source for our valued franchise partners," added Rob Palleschi, CEO of G6 Hospitality.
