SentinelOne and Exclusive Networks Partner for MSSP Platform

Ransomware attacks are becoming an expensive headache for many companies, both large and small, as well as government organizations. It’s essentially a blackmailing scam that uses a kind of malware from that either threatens to publish a personal data or perpetually block access to it unless a ransom is paid. Many companies with insufficient network security are finding bad actors – often foreign – taking over their systems and locking them up, only promising to unlock the data for a large sum of cash. A number of high-profile recent attacks has sent organizations all over the world scrambling to ensure they don’t fall victim to an attack.

In many cases, companies and other organizations are looking to their managed service providers (MSPs) to ensure they are protected against a ransomware attack. Network security solutions provider Exclusive Networks recently inked a deal with SentinelOne, a Mountain View, California-based cybersecurity firm.

SentinelOne Singularity platform is a “data lake” designed to fuse together the data, access, control, and integration planes of its endpoint protection (EPP), endpoint detection and response (EDR), IoT security, and cloud workload protection (CWPP) into a centralized platform. With Singularity, organizations gain access to back-end data across the organization through a single solution, providing a cohesive view of their network and assets by adding a real time, autonomous security layer across all enterprise assets.

The deal between the two companies, which will see Exclusive Networks provide the SentinelOne managed services security provider (MSSP) platform, is designed to help small and medium businesses in Australia and New Zealand to access the latest enterprise endpoint security. The new deployment model enables MSSPs to order Singularity Complete and Singularity Control licenses from the management console, based on the pay-as-you-use concept.

SentinelOne APJ channel sales director Joe McPhillips points to the company’s recent recognition as a Leader in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms, and the 2020 MITRE ATT&CK evaluation.

“It’s great timing that we are now in a position to maximise the commercial offering for Australian MSP and MSSPs,” he said in a statement. “SentinelOne’s architecture provides an ideal offering to deliver a true multi-tenant platform together with a commercial offering via monthly billing in a utility style package for partners requiring this kind of commercial model.”

To learn more about how managed service providers can improve security and guard against ransomware attacks, make plans to attend MSPEXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSPEXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place from February 8-11, 2022, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website
