Telesystem Announces Voxnet Acquisition

By Maurice Nagle

Managed services are making the world go round. The unsung heroes of the pandemic for business of all shapes and sizes, MSPs serve as an ambassador of digital transformation, assisting businesses in crossing the threshold of modern operations.

Today, Telesystem announced the acquisition of Voxnet, further supplementing its suite of managed solutions.

“Our national growth strategy is comprised of organic and inorganic means of growth,” said John Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer at Telesystem.  “We hope to repeat activities like this in markets across the United States.”

Clients of Pennsylvania-based MSP Voxnet gain an enhanced Unified Communications experience, added geographic redundancy from Telesystem’s low latency nationwide network as well as access to SD-WAN and a robust suite of managed security solutions tailored to each customer’s network requirements. With a geographically diverse footprint of channel partners and managers, each Telesystem project gets dedicated project management and on-site installation.

“Our goal is to provide excellent customer support for the best-in-class technology options in each service silo,” noted Telesystem EVP and Chief Operations Officer Denton Parson.  “We take the approach to have our internal staff support and manage the comprehensive solutions that we put to market.  With Fortinet’s growing popularity in the marketplace, it makes great strategic sense to receive both the talent and intelligence that comes with the VoxNet acquisition.”

AS MSPs continue to underpin digital transformation across the country, Telesystem is just getting started.
