Lemongrass, Amazon Managed Services Announce SAP Offering

By Maurice Nagle

The cloud wars are upon us. The lead pack is clear, but when the dust settles – if the dust settles – we may have a photo finish on our hands. A key segment of the cloud market making massive gains is managed services, and each of the top dogs are jockeying for position.

Today, Lemongrass announced the arrival of partner-led AWS Managed Services (AMS) to support enterprises make the best of SAP systems running on AWS. The integrated offering promises management, maintenance, enhancement and optimization, allowing organizations the ability to keep focus on bottom-line results.

Organizations leveraging the joint offering gain an out-of-the-box” cloud operating model for 24x7 management; robust automation that cuts cost; a modern platform for SAP S/4, integrations for SAP S/4 and DevOps for SAP; and comprehensive security, identity and compliance – PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO9001, to name a few measures met.

“Our clients understand that platforms like SAP are not simple. They can be time-consuming, complex and expensive to maintain and modify,” said Jason Wojahn, President and COO at Lemongrass. “Working with Lemongrass and AMS, our clients gain access to the most reliable cloud platform on the market as well as infrastructure that is managed, optimized and automated by AMS, and SAP systems that are managed, automated, and tuned by Lemongrass, the premier provider of SAP on AWS managed services and solutions.”

The reality is, limited technology expertise inhibits businesses around the world in making the leap to more modern operations, which is serving as a key driver of the managed services space. Are your operations in the cloud?
