By Paula Bernier

Pax8 – whose chief channel officer will be speaking at MSP Expo in January –  today announced the addition of five new vendors to the company’s suite of cloud solutions. The new vendors are AcronisDropsuiteIRONSCALESPassportal, and Proofpoint.

Acronis offers AI-based anti-ransomware, backup, disaster recovery, enterprise file sync and share, and storage solutions. Dropsuite sells a cloud software platform that backs up, protects, and can recover important company information.

IRONSCALES offers an anti-phishing threat protection platform. It combines human and machine intelligence to automatically analyze, detect, and remove malicious emails before and after they reach user inboxes. And Passportal supplies MSPs with cloud-based secure password and documentation management. And Proofpoint sells cloud-based cybersecurity and compliance solutions.

“The announcement today represents tremendous growth at Pax8 in the categories of security, business continuity, and cloud backup,” said Pax8’s Ryan Walsh, who will present the Jan. 30 MSP Expo session Show Me the Money: Ways to Increase Your Company’s Worth. “Each of these vendors brings a unique set of solutions to Pax8 Stax, providing MSPs with the ability to round out their technology stacks, expand cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and elevate overall cloud adoption.”

MSP Expo is an event for managed service providers that want to learn about partnerships and techniques they can use to grow their businesses. This event will run from Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It will cover such topics as how the cloud is impacting the MSP business, why voice and unified communications should be part of an MSP’s portfolio, new opportunities in the wide area network via SD-WAN, and what else is new and noteworthy in MSP marketing and sales strategies.
