RingCentral Unveils SD-WAN Certified Partners Program

RingCentral Unveils SD-WAN Certified Partners Program

By Paula Bernier

RingCentral has introduced a new SD-WAN certified partners program. CloudGenix, Cradlepoint, GTT Communications, Riverbed, VMware, and Windstream Enterprise are among the partners involved in the effort.

These companies deliver SD-WAN solutions that are optimized to work with RingCentral cloud communications and collaboration solutions, and are preconfigured for out-of-the-box usage. That enables businesses to turn up new locations within days rather than months. It also lets them enjoy higher performing and more reliable communications by reducing jitter, latency, and packet loss, RingCentral says.

“SD-WAN and UCaaS are natural partners,” notes John Burke, Principal Research Analyst and CIO at Nemertes Research. “SD-WAN reduces branch network outages by 95%, and slashes WAN management overhead by 50%, according to our recent report. Together, SD-WAN and UCaaS combine to fully enable an internet-only, cloud-first agile branching strategy: They deliver robust, resilient enterprise cloud communications services anywhere, with minimal overhead and lead time.”

Cradlepoint CMO Todd Krautkremer said: “Like other modern, cloud-enabled IT infrastructures, UCaaS demands a non-stop WAN edge with direct Internet access at each remote site, which SD-WAN plus 4G LTE uniquely delivers. Cradlepoint is proud to partner with RingCentral. Together, we make it easy for customers to integrate UCaaS solutions into their SD-WAN deployments and benefit from the extended reach and reliability of 4G LTE today with a pathway to 5G in the future.”

RingCentral’s Jeff Winnett participated in the MSP Expo panel “How to Profitably Add UC and Telecom to Your Service Offering.” Winnett is AVP of channel sales at RingCentral.

MSP Expo is being staged this week at the MGM Grand Convention Center in Las Vegas. Thursday’s MSP Expo sessions include “How MSPs Can Compete in the Age of the Hyperscale Cloud Provider” and “How MSPs Can Drive Digital Transformation”. And ITEX, with which MSP Expo is collocated, will also include a panel Thursday morning called “Addressing Security as an MSP. Want to be an MSSP?”
