According to a report carried out by First Consulting Group and commissioned by several organizations, including The American Hospital Association and The Association of American Medical Colleges, there are shortages in the double digit rates in some fields. For nursing assistants, LPNs, pharmacists, imaging technicians and registered nurses, it is upwards of 12 percent.
