MSPs to Benefit from OTG Consulting and Masergy Partnership

By Frank Griffin

Getting the right certification from a vendor can give a master agency access to new markets because of the new products and services it is able to provide to existing and new customers. OTG Consulting just received such a certification from Masergy, making it part of its Global Partner Program, which so far has resulted in identifying clients, including enterprises and MSPs, that can potentially use Masergy's software defined platform solutions to add business value and technical innovation.

With so many products and services available in ICT, MSPs have to sift through hundreds or even thousands of vendors to find the right solution for their clients. When a vendor such as Masergy certifies a company like OTG Consulting, it makes the process that much easier because the solutions have been vetted.

“We are thrilled to add OTG Consulting to our Global Partner Program,” said Chuck Ward, VP of Global Channels, Masergy. “OTG Consulting is a trusted resource to its customers and we look forward to joint success together.”

Masergy uses patented technology to operate its own software defined platform, which according to the company is the largest such independent platform in the world. This capability allows it to deliver solutions to global enterprises with the scale and reliability they demand.

The Masergy software defined platform gives its customers a solution that is easy to design, deploy, manage, and modify whether it is being deployed locally or globally. This single platform has unlimited flexibility to power hybrid network solutions with an embedded layer of intelligent analytics and service control. Using its Simply Connect feature, organizations can be part of Masergy's global platform using managed broadband, network as a service or any combination of intelligent connectivity.

Once the connection has been established, the network can be customized with unlimited virtual environments with direct private extensions into public cloud providers through the Masergy Cloud Marketplace. The environment can then be fully optimized by mixing and matching on premises, cloud and virtualized deployment models using the company's suite of fully managed network functions, including SD-WAN.

“Masergy's unique value proposition with its Software Defined Platform, customizable solutions and superior client experience really resonates with our global enterprise client base," said Jeffrey Pearl, CEO and Managing Partner, OTG Consulting. “We have had great early success after introducing Masergy to our existing customers and look forward to growing our base with new prospects.”

Having multiple connectivity options, unlimited virtual environments, managed network functions along with analytics and service control are all features MSPs can deliver to their customers as part of the Masergy and OTG Consulting partnership.
