Ensono Acquires Attenda to Increase Global Presence

By Michael Guta

The information and communication technology end users experience requires a tremendous amount of expertise in the backend. As individual consumers and organizations alike continue to demand more data and real-time access, service providers have to find solutions to the complexities that make delivering these services possible. For companies that don't have the technology to make it happen, merging with or acquiring a business that has the solutions is one way to go. For Ensono, provider of progressive IT solutions that supports mission-critical workloads, acquiring Attenda will allow it to improve its offering across public cloud dedicated infrastructure and mainframe so it can support the global operations of its clients while at the same time increasing its presence internationally.

Effectively running and managing the business-critical applications of enterprises in today's dynamic digital environment requires a comprehensive understanding of the entire ecosystem. Since it was founded in 1997, Attenda has been evolving by providing managed services with a business-critical IT approach and a comprehensive application and hybrid IT managed services portfolio.

“Ensono's expertise in managing mission-critical operations, coupled with the standardized platforms and services of Attenda in managed public and private cloud, helps accelerate Ensono's strategy to enable its clients to operate seamlessly across multiple environments,” said Jeff VonDeylen, CEO of Ensono.

The public and private cloud management capabilities Attenda will provide is going to give Ensono the scalability it needs to deliver its services around the world. Scale and reach have now become just as important for large enterprises because they can access customers no matter where they are if there is an infrastructure to deliver and support their service.

In addressing the issues of scalability and reach, Mark Fowle, co-founder and CEO of Attenda, said, “Ensono understands these needs, and the combined organization will be unparalleled in respect of its scale, financial strength, focus, quality and service breadth, all of which are necessary to provide clients with the solutions they need to advance their business objectives – regardless of platform or location.”

For more than 46 years Ensono has been managing the business complexities organizations face with each succeeding technology. According to the company, it has managed hundreds of complex migrations as well as designed solutions to address many of the challenges companies face today.

Ensono gives organizations the tools they need to transform their legacy systems and infrastructures to increase their agility, availability and security. The addition of Attenda will allow it to augment existing cloud solutions with additional applications and hybrid IT capabilities. This includes a proprietary hybrid IT service management platform that incorporates AWS and Azure, which will make it possible to extend its reach for better support of its global operations. This will enhance its ability to bridge the gap between traditional IT and cloud environments with Attenda's expertise in running business-critical cloud applications.
