In particular, the company has branched out Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda with a subscription-based hardware solution called Barracuda Backup - Intronis MSP Edition. Available now in North America, the solution leverages Barracuda’s award-winning technology to provide MSPas with an appliance-based solution for their customers.
Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda features backup and data protection solutions specifically designed for managed service providers. Alongside the launch of its new solution, the company has also announced its new brand name: Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda. This new branding enables the solution to leverage Barracuda’s international brand recognition. This change comes several months after Barracuda announced the acquisition of Intronis.

With an eye on preventing customer data loss, the new appliance offers several key features like support for VMware for instant VM recovery, replication of images and files to the cloud, granular SharePoint recovery, data protection for Microsoft clusters, and instant hardware replacement bundled support.
