Alliance Engage Program Now Has 11 Master Agent Portals

By Oliver VanDervoort

Formerly known as the Agent Alliance, the Alliance Partners have just announced that 11 of its members have launched or will soon launch Alliance Engage Portals. These portals, powered by Convey Services are geared toward connecting telecom and IT providers with their agent networks. The Alliance Partners is a larger channel industry consortium that represents agents, value-added resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) along with IT consultants and cloud specialists.

Comtel Communications, Global Systems Telecom, Fostar, Cloud Taskforce, Selectel and CarrierSales have decided to join current Alliance participants Telegration, ARG and the eXemplify Group by launching Alliance Engage portals.

“Providers can now connect with our members, their agents and direct sales teams from a single, online location, making it easier for them to consume information,” said Bill Power, Alliance Partners CEO in a recent statement announcing the new portals. “Through our unique Member-to-Member Commerce (M2MC) program, we offer Alliance members access to more than 350 top tier telecom and IT solution providers from around the world.”

This particular initiative means that participants are able to take advantage for direct relationships with other members and their individual portfolios. The increased provider visability means that members are able to find other companies to do business with. The database that members of the alliance have access to also allows them to see companies that have done business with Alliance members before. This means that those firms that have been friendly with the alliance in the recent past can be recruited and leaned on for new business. Whether talking about telecom providers or other members of the Alliance, having those kinds of business contacts is well worth the monthly fee to be a part of the organization. With so many different firms launching Agent Portals, the alliance is going to make it quite a bit more worthwhile to be a member.
