Beachhead Solutions Has 346 Percent Growth in 2014 Fueled by Cloud-Based MSP Mobile Security Solution

By Laura Stotler

Mobility and mobile solutions are driving all markets in the technology sector and managed services is no exception. In fact, Beachhead Solutions, a company that specializes in cloud-managed mobile device security services, has reported a whopping 346 percent year-over-year rise in monthly recurring revenues for 2014.

The company targets MSPs and resellers with its offerings, which include cloud-managed mobile device encryption, data access control and security solutions. The SimplySecure Managed System helps MSPs easily offer cloud-based security and management for customers’ mobile devices, with support for laptops, desktops, iPhones, Android devices and USB storage devices.

"Today, sensitive data travels at light-speed and can be carried around in every employees' pocket, and compliance requirements for the handling of sensitive data only raise the stakes,” said Larry Robertson, CEO of MSP Convergent Technologies, which works with Beachhead. “Rendering the entire mobile constellation of laptops, tablets, phones, and USB drives within an organization significantly less susceptible to data leaks makes for a peace of mind clients find very welcome, and that wouldn't be available without Beachhead's easily-managed solution.”

MSPs may take advantage of Beachhead’s free license offer, which enables them to provide their clients with five free SimplySecure Phone & Tablet licenses per customer. The company also offers a free trial that MSPs may pass along to their customers so they can get comfortable with the cloud-based offering.

SimplySecure simplifies management for MSPs through a single sign-on multi-tenant cloud console for MSP subaccounts as well as monthly reporting summaries for MSP subaccounts. The solution features monthly billing only for licenses deployed during each month, without the need for customer or reseller time or cost commitments. Beachhead recently updated the solution as well, including user interface improvements for better MSP control. The offering also features account snapshots and the ability to manage the solution on a user basis.

With MSPs under pressure to manage and secure a growing number of mobile devices for their customers, a cloud-based offering gives them flexibility, a rich feature set and low price point to meet demand.
