OnX Rolls Out New Managed IT Service Desk Offerings

OnX Rolls Out New Managed IT Service Desk Offerings

By Laura Stotler

Providing IT support and services can be a hectic and demanding job, particularly at smaller businesses with overburdened IT departments. OnX Enterprise Solutions is aiming to help ease the burden and has rolled out two new managed services offerings designed to help streamline operations for IT departments.

The new Service Desk Support and Service Management Software offerings are part of the company’s IT Service Management (ITSM) suite of solutions and enable organizations to track and resolve IT issues efficiently and cost effectively. Service Desk Support actually includes help desk personnel and provides desktop support through multi-level tiers. The service may be customized to fine tune alerts, tickets and workflow procedures to meet clients’ specific needs.

The Service Management Software platform helps IT teams create tickets, isolate problems, receive and capture incidents and assess issues to speed up resolution times. It also offers analytics to help pinpoint trouble spots in operations and clients may set key performance indicators to help improve overall delivery. The platform is provided as a standalone solution and may also be delivered with Service Desk Support.

"At OnX Managed Services, we're committed to looking for new ways to support our clients' day-to-day operations and our new Service Desk Support and Service Management Software solutions help clients standardize their own IT delivery and, in turn, free up time to focus on other business priorities," said Wayne Kiphart, president of OnX Managed Services.

OnX offers a full suite of cloud and managed services with offerings like dedicated private hosting, multi-tenant managed cloud services, data backup and recovery and enterprise production infrastructure solutions. Services may be used in the enterprise, for multi-tenant architectures and in existing data centers. OnX also provides network and device support in addition to hosted Exchange email and SharePoint-as-a-Service.

The company has been making a play in the data center space, and last month OnX announced a partnership with infrastructure solutions provider PVD Modular to deliver Data Center-as-a-Service offerings. The companies are working together to design, deploy and manage modular data centers.
