InterCloud Awarded $3.95 Million Managed Services Contract

InterCloud Systems, Inc. provides end-to-end information technology (IT) and next-generation network solutions to the service provider and corporate enterprise markets. The company uses cloud platforms to deliver managed services along with professional consulting and staffing services, voice, data and optical solutions. Carriers use InterCloud technology to meet the technological demand of today's wireless environment.

The company announced it has received a $3.95 million managed services contract from a large Texas-based multinational corporation. According to InterCloud, it will leverage the technologies of its customer to deliver improved customer experience and provide detailed information about its users.

Multinational corporations rely on global Internet traffic along with mobile telecommunication devices and cloud-based services to stay connected with all of their employees and customers around the world. Being able to store, access and manage data remotely and take advantage of shared services is a critical component in ensuring their success.

InterCloud provides solutions that allow enterprises to remain competitive by providing resources, tools and practices to evaluate and deploy new technologies that can be implemented as part of the organization to improve overall services. The largest enterprises around the world, which include telecommunications and broadband service providers, rely on InterCloud for application, infrastructure and professional services.

The applications and services it provides include unified communications, interactive voice response (IVR), call centers, as well as structured cabling and other field installations around the world. The company designs, engineers, installs, and maintains different types of WiFi and wide-area networks, distributed antenna systems (DAS), and small cell distribution networks for incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs), telecommunications original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), cable broadband multiple systems operators (MSOs) and large end-users. Additionally it sells hardware to the leading OEMs that support voice, data, and optical networks.

The professional services supports project management, implementation installation, network upgrades, rebuilds, maintenance, and consulting services. InterCloud leverages an international database of more than 70,000 telecom professionals to quickly deploy services in support of networking infrastructure deployments globally. The recruits provide services and assist telecommunications companies, cable broadband MSOs and enterprise clients throughout the project lifecycle of a network deployment.
