Anturis Launches New Version of IT Monitoring Solution for SMBs

By Ed Silverstein

Anturis is now showing off a new IT monitoring solution, Anturis Version 1.4, which features Parallels Plesk integration.

The solution is designed for small- to medium-size businesses (SMBs), but the cloud solution still provides enterprise-grade IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.

In fact, SMBs that do not have advanced IT departments or large IT budgets will find it useful, too. According to Sergey Nevstruev, Anturis’ CEO, Anturis Version 1.4 “takes minutes to set up and start monitoring all of a customer's servers and software...With Version 1.4, Web hosters and website administrators who are using Parallels Plesk are now able to benefit from the simplicity of our cloud-based solution."

Anturis Version 1.4 features Dashboards. They provide a view of operating metrics, and can be used for troubleshooting. In addition, Dashboards let users see graphs of system resources and applications, and graphs of external Web monitors. Anturis Version 1.4 also features: faster graphs; a graph UI with access to single checks data; optimized back-end performance; fail detection algorithm; and improved false alerts filtering.

It was just in December that Anturis announced it had raised $2 million in Series A funds from investors. The funding round was led by Runa Capital and VEB Innovations (Vnesheconombank group).  The money is being used for expansion of the IT monitoring and troubleshooting solution designed for SMBs and ISPs, as well as for research and development and marketing and sales efforts, the company said.

Round-the-clock infrastructure monitoring is a $2 billion sector – and more growth is expected. "Website and network uptime is critical for most businesses," Dmitry Chikhachev, managing partner of Runa Capital, explained in a December statement. "We see large potential in Anturis and have a long-term goal to make it the number one monitoring service for the soon to be $1 trillion SMB software market."
