Dino Morra Becomes Vice President of Sales for Host.net

By Ryan Sartor

Dino Morra, who has 23 years experience working in global telecommunications, has joined Host.net as vice president of sales. The move comes on the same day that all of the equity in Host.net was acquired by NOVACAP—and now Host.net—CEO Jeffrey Davis from BroadbandONE. With changes occurring left and right for Host.net, they are looking for Morra to help grow the company in 2014.

“Dino is a thought leader in the South Florida market and has (indirectly) been part of the Host.net family as a colleague and industry professional,” said Davis.

Before coming to Host.net, Morra worked for 14 years for USLEC, most recently functioning as the company’s regional VP of sales. Morra got his start as a sales director at AT&T, where he performed at the top two percent of all sales directors in the company.

“Host.net has established itself with a proven track record as the go-to service provider for data center and cloud server and storage deployments for the enterprise space,” said Morra. “No other provider has shown the level of consistency and dedication to the tech community at large and I am very excited and proud to be a part of it.”

With the hiring of Morra, Davis is showing that his acquisition of Host.net was not just a power play, but that he is interested in building the company and hiring veteran workers who know the industry well and can help Host.net succeed in the year ahead.

It will be interesting to see how other companies in the business continuity industry react to this news and how seriously they will take Host.net in 2014.
