Merrill & Associations to Use GENBRAND's NUVia Cloud Service to Back UCaaS Platform

By Monica Gleberman

Merrill & Associates has turned to GENBRAND’s NUViA cloud service to help back its advanced unified communications platform called COPiA. The service will give Merrill & Associates customers more advanced tools and techniques to communicate with one another.

Merrill & Associates has been working hard to make a name for itself in the business industry as a provider of end-to-end business communication systems including VoIP (voice over IP), unified communications, messaging solutions, video conferencing center applications and other communication services.

The company has done so well that Wealth Management reported Merrill has seen a surge, even though broker headcounts have declined. The company helped Bank of America reel in an all-time high in wealth management revenue and profits during its second quarter.

To keep a head of its game, Merrill will now offer an even more advanced communication tool for both government and enterprise customers. Users will be able to accelerate all forms of communication allowing companies to run more seamlessly and effectively.

"GENBAND NUViA combines carrier-grade security and reliability with a modern and market-leading set of Unified Communications (UC) capabilities, ensuring a smooth migration to next-generation applications for our customers," said Charlotte Melendez-Luna, senior vice president of Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Merrill & Associates.

"COPiA enables vast improvements in communication that keep mobile employees and sales teams connected through IM, video conferencing, desktop sharing and file sharing -- all on a common, intuitive interface for the end user. By partnering with GENBAND, we can offer our customers a differentiated and powerful cloud-based UC experience -- anytime, anywhere, on any device and over any network."

The service will be offered in a variety of fashions including a pay-as-you go model to help small businesses gain access to the platform while staying within their budgets. Merrill & Associates has yet to release information detailing when the new UCaaS will be available for consumers.
