Wow Technologies Brings Hybrid Managed Solutions to the Heart of Seattle

By Doug Barney

Wow Technologies, perhaps better known as Wowrack, is building out its data center facilities in Boeing and Microsoft country – that would be Seattle.

The build will bring in an extra 11,000 square feet of capacity, bringing total space to 18,000 feet. The project will be done early next year.

The investment is designed to help Wowrack increase its ability to provide colocation and managed cloud infrastructure based on SOC-1/SSAE16 Type II infrastructure.

“Wowrack continues to attract clients who require world-class data center space,” said Erward Oskar, Managing Partner, Wowrack. “This expansion allows us to continue to provide even more competitive pricing and hosting options for both our existing and prospective clients.”

The build out is happening at the Sabey Data Centers. “We've enjoyed seeing the proliferation of Wowrack's end to end solution. From start-ups to enterprises, customers across the United States and into Asia are receiving comprehensive services both on site and at Wowrack's facilities,” said John Sabey, President, Sabey Data Centers.

Clients looking for hosting can now make single or multiple rack reservations, and receive promotional pricing.

The Wowrack Factor

Wow Technologies, which brands itself as both Wowrack and Coloinseattle, is now 13 years old. The company offers bandwidth delivery, managed hosting, colocation, dedicated servers and virtualization.

“Our competency includes being able to design, provision, implement, manage and monitor high traffic websites that require high availability and redundant infrastructure,” Wow declared. “Wowrack also offers full service IT support and consulting to our customers. We are able to provide end-to-end corporate IT solutions including project management, systems management & integration, networking and security solutions, disaster recovery, and help desk support.”

In the past, TMC covered news of a partnership between VOIP Connections and Wowrack concerning VoIP gateways.
