Infor Selects NTT DATA to Handle Global Infor 10x Deployment

IT professional services provider NTT DATA and Infor, a provider of business application software, today expanded their existing partnership. This expansion will see NTT DATA deliver a private cloud and managed service deployment solution for Infor 10x, the latest release of Infor's technology platform and an evolution of Infor10.

This collaboration will leverage NTT DATA's full-stack Cloud Lifecycle Services, combining Infor's software as a service (SaaS) capability with NTT DATA's infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS). This will also support the full service continuum of Infor's customers, from consulting and migration, to management services.

This announcement comes very closely after the release of Infor 10x, which is a major part of Infor's plans to become one of the industry's largest enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendors. The release combines a multipurpose middleware platform that features social, mobile, analytical and cloud capabilities with Infor's suite of solutions — most of which feature a reinvented HTML5 user experience, the new Infor Meng.le collaboration platform and complete in-context analytics embedded within workflows.

NTT DATA has long provided optimized system design, implementation, upgrades, application management and cloud hosting services for Infor's Lawson S3 and M3 product lines, as well as related third-party products and custom developed applications. As such, the company is a trusted provider of Infor application management and hosting services and an obvious choice to deliver private cloud and managed service deployment for Infor10x.

In fact, NTT DATA is already supporting Infor clients in various verticals, including healthcare, financial services and the public sector.
