MSP CMIT Solutions Selects Continuum for Managed Services Platform, Support

By Laura Stotler

Continuum has been chosen as the exclusive provider of managed services and software for CMIT Solutions. The managed services platform provider will extend its solutions to the Texas-based IT support company, as well as its more than 135 franchises throughout the country.

CMIT franchisees will gain more efficient and cost-effective access to IT management, protection and support services through the agreement. Their small to mid-sized business customers will also benefit, and Continuum's fully integrated platform is designed to help managed service providers (MSP) achieve high gross margins on their business.

MSP CMIT provides managed services and other computer consulting solutions that are specifically tailored to meet customers' needs. The company has more than 135 locally owned and operated franchise locations offering personalized local service, along with the technical resources and background of a large national company.

The vast network will benefit from Continuum's Software-as-a-Service platform, which enables MSPs to efficiently back up, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain desktops, servers and endpoints for their SMB customers.

The platform also provides intelligent remote monitoring and management (RMM) and advanced backup and disaster recovery (BDR) services. All offerings are integrated with Continuum's network operations center (NOC) as well as a U.S.-based service desk to provide a single, unified managed services solution.

"CMIT has grown to become one of the largest IT services companies in the nation by consistently providing industry-leading technology solutions to the markets we have chosen to serve," said Jeff Connally, president and CEO at CMIT Solutions. "Our decision to standardize on Continuum's managed services platform reflects our confidence in their commitment to continue to deliver the powerful software, and high-quality services and programs our franchisees need to build their businesses."

Continuum supports more than 3,300 MSPs throughout the world and monitors more than half a million endpoints.

"We are thrilled that CMIT franchises will now be leveraging our entire managed services offering," added Michael George, CEO at Continuum. "Utilizing both our remote monitoring and management, and business continuity solutions enables CMIT franchisees to provide complete IT management and protection from a single, SaaS-based platform that is tightly integrated with our industry-leading network operation center. This powerful combination enables CMIT franchisees to profitably scale their operations and maintain high customer satisfaction as they shift customers to a managed services model that requires proactive 24/7/365 uptime and support."
