Axcient and Level Platforms Combine Data Protection and Remote Monitoring Platforms

By Erin Harrison

Cloud platform provider Axcient and managed workplace company Level Platforms have integrated their data protection and remote monitoring platforms. Axcient provides technology designed to cut business downtime and data loss to provide managed service providers (MSPs) with a single platform they can use to manage the range of vendor technologies impacting their end customers’ IT experience.

More businesses are turning to MSPs for backup and disaster recovery solutions, which was the impetus for the partnership between Axcient and Level Platforms, according to Justin Moore, CEO of Axcient.

“Businesses are increasingly turning to managed service providers for solutions to eliminate data loss, avoid IT downtime and keep applications up and running at all times, Moore said in a statement. “Our deeper integration with Level Platforms combines the leading RMM platform and the best data protection solution within a single interface. This ensures our joint partners can help their customers avoid losing revenue, reputation and data by getting them immediately back up and running after a system failure or disaster.”

The Axcient Service Module, which company officials said installs with a few clicks, is designed to provide a two-way integration between Managed Workplace and Axcient’s hybrid cloud-based data backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solution.

The platform allows MSPs to monitor the overall health and status of an end-client’s backup and data protection system, including the ability to identify protected, potentially unprotected and at-risk sites, as well as the success and failure of backup and recovery jobs.

The Axcient Service Module makes it easier for Level Platforms partners to monitor and manage the protection of their managed sites, according to Gordon Rielly, CTO of Level Platforms.

“Working with leading vendors we’re continuing to broaden the functionality of Managed Workplace to provide MSPs with a complete, detailed and deeper view of the entire IT ecosystem for their end-customers,” Rielly said. “The Axcient Service Module makes it easy for our partners to fully monitor and manage the protection of their managed sites from within their regular workflow in Managed Workplace.”

Axcient is the latest vendor to complete a deep product integration with its Managed Workplace remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform, with numerous hardware, software and cloud services vendors now enrolled in the Technology Integration Program (TIP).
