Vembu Technologies Inc. and Artisan Infrastructure have teamed up to offer managed service providers (MSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) a unique opportunity. The twosome will be enabling MSPs and VARs to build their own cloud-based solutions for a cost-effective price, using Vembu's StoreGrid and SyncBlaze technology.
The integration lets MSPs and VARs create turnkey solutions which may be completely white labeled and offered as a cloud-based solution to their customers. The StoreGrid technology from Vembu is designed to help MSPs build cloud-based disaster recovery solutions, while SynchBlaze helps them to offer file sharing and sync solutions.
When the Vembu technologies are combined with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider Artisan's Cornerstone virtual private data center (vPDC) solution, the result is an appealing option for both MSPs and VARs. Vembu specializes in advanced backup and disaster recovery (BDR) as well as file sharing and synchronization solutions.
The StoreGrid and SyncBlaze offerings are pre-installed and are available publicly through Artisan's solution ecosystem, which makes them deployable in less than a few minutes. The combined solutions provide quick and reliable cloud backup as well as disaster recovery, file sharing and sync. Artisan's Cornerstone vPDC offering also lets MSPs retain complete autonomy in the deployment and management of their individual cloud solutions.
"This partnership enables channel partners to create profitable cloud solutions for businesses," said Srivatsan Venkatesan, vice president of Product Management at Vembu Technologies, in a statement. "It's a perfect equation. Completely brandable, industry leading backup and secure file sharing, cloud based services, combined with market disruptive pricing enables tremendous profit margins. We're sure that MSPs will love this solution."
"Our relationship with Vembu Technologies provides additional value to our channel partners by allowing choice and flexibility in how they deliver data protection and file sharing services," added Charles Wallace, director, strategic alliances for Artisan Infrastructure. "It also ensures that our partners achieve the highest margins while maintaining complete control of their brand, services and customers, strengthening their bottom line."
