ControlCircle Enlists the Talent of Former Star and AVG Executives to Pursue Cloud Expansion

ControlCircle provides managed and cloud-based service for online businesses and enterprises globally. The company provides its customers critical IT infrastructure, as well as applications for different sized businesses and industries.

In order to continue its recent growth, the company has enlisted the talents of two senior directors. The chief executive at ControlCircle, Carmen Carey, commented that the pair would help the Citrix, Microsoft and Oracle partner’s growth strategy, as well as its expansion into the cloud space.

The two additions to the company are Colin Tenwick and Marion Stewart, both with extensive experience in the tech industry.

As the new chairman in the board of directors for the company Tenwick brings with him his knowledge in scaling fast growing technology companies. His stays at AVG, StepStone ASA, Red Hat, Sybase and Ingres gives him the experience ControlCircle needs for new strategies to keep growing in the managed and cloud services market.

“ControlCircle has all the skills and potential to own a market that requires technical innovation and reliability combined with personal service to serve CIOs who are looking to scale with confidence. My experience of internet-based businesses developing growth strategies, combined with ControlCircle’s unique value proposition and success to date, forms the basis of a truly exciting time ahead,” said Colin Tenwick.

Marion Stewart will be the new Director of Operations bringing her experiences with Savvis and Star. Her career in operations management, commercial account management, IT support and engineering will improve the overall operations of the company as it carves new markets.

"We are delighted to have Marion and Colin join us at such a significant stage in our growth and development. Colin's knowledge of taking organizations through stages of maturity, growth and achieving market leadership will be invaluable. Marion will be focused on all elements of customer experience including delivery, support and service, and I am confident she will successfully drive all of the operational priorities for the business,” said Carmen Carey, chief executive at ControlCircle.

ControlCircle was founded in 2001 as a privately owned company with a focus on servicing customers from data centers in the U.K., U.S. and EMEA. It has partnerships with some of the most recognized organizations in the world, including Oracle, NetApp, Checkpoint and VMware.

This allows it to provide reliable services for complex IT infrastructure and software application for mission-critical systems on a 24/7 basis.
