The State of Arizona Signs Multi-Year Agreement To Deploy GuideSoft's MSP

By Monica Gleberman

The State of Arizona has signed a multi-year agreement with GuideSoft, Inc. to handle all IT-related issues via the State’s Managed Service Provider (MSP). GuideSoft will be responsible for increasing project efficiencies, monitoring labor activities and handling projects valued at almost $1 million.

GuideSoft Inc., also known as Knowledge Services, has been in operation since 1994. The Indiana-based company operates as an information technology recruitment company that helps third party organizations find staff, recruit IT training, and secure facility locations throughout the country. Since it’s formation, the company has expanded its services to include instructor-led training, live virtual classes, self-study guides, and other resources for companies looking to increase workflow.

Its main program, commissioned as AZMSP, will be deployed throughout Arizona to help “process efficiencies” and “deliver unparalleled transparency, business intelligence and workflow automation to the State of Arizona while retaining valued relationships with local and trusted IT service providers,” the company said in a statement. “The Phoenix-based Knowledge Services MSP team will provide State of Arizona agencies with a wide range of services including supplier contracts, management and performance metrics, market based rate analysis, and risk mitigation.”

Knowledge Services said companies that implement its MSP programs can expect to see various benefits including an increase in business intelligence, an automated workflow process, better vendor and supply chain management, and overall cost reductions as high as 20-30 percent.

Founder and CEO of Knowledge Services, Julie Bielawski, said that this multi-year agreement is a big deal for her company, as well as, the Arizona state. “We are excited for the opportunity to work with the State of Arizona on this strategic initiative.”

She continued, “The Knowledge Services Government Solutions Team works to enhance the delivery of qualified resources and strengthen relationships with vendor community to best serve the State of Arizona’s contingent workforce needs.”
