StratITSphere Partners with Arrow Electronics on Cloud Services Platform for MSPs and VARs


StratITSphere Data Center Solutions is expanding into the cloud services space through a new partnership with Arrow Electronics (News - Alert). The move is designed to give MSPs, VARs and system integrators a simple way to deploy cloud services via Arrow’s ArrowSphere North American marketplace catalog.

The partnership enables StratITSphere’s service provider and other customers to sell and manage cloud services through the ArrowSphere secure platform. The environment lets channel providers build solutions to leverage their brands while offering a host of additional features.

A growing number of MSPs are turning to cloud solutions to add value to their services portfolios, due to their quick and easy nature to deploy. StorageCraft Cloud Services recently reported nearly 200 percent growth in the amount of data stored by their MSP and VAR customers, a direct measure of increased cloud uptake.

The ArrowSphere platform enables MSPs to manage their contracts and billing as well as maintain direct relationships with customers. The environment features a comprehensive management engine as well, designed to process renewals, price changes and promotions. It also offers integrated metering, service management, single sign-on security, contracts and SLAs.

The platform meshes well with StratITSphere’s business model, which provides wholesale cloud services to the channel exclusively. According to Kelby Dennard, vice president of global cloud development for StratITsphere, ArrowSphere’s production-proven infrastructure offers enormous value to the company’s resale customers.
