Fanvil and IPTECHVIEW Eliminate Door Station Setup

Fanvil and IPTECHVIEW Eliminate Door Station Setup

Flexible technology solutions that grant access to digital resources from anywhere offer benefits for any business. When flexibility and “anywhere access” are combined with video surveillance to create a VSaaS solution, businesses gain peace-of-mind when it comes to on-site security.

Fanvil and IPTECHVIEW know this, which is why they announced a collaborative partnership earlier in October. Combined, the two offer edge devices coupled with a cloud solution system that includes multi-vendor system health monitoring, secure remote management, mass configuration and firmware updates.

Fanvil and IPTECHVIEW went further with their collaboration and revealed new Fanvil door stations and video intercom that are IPTECHVIEW-ready and ship ready to be deployed right out of the box. The new door stations, which must only be connected to a PoE switch that provides power and online access, require no local setup at the installation site.

The devices create a secure tunnel to IPTECHVIEW’s servers that route video and phone traffic to wherever needed, such as on-premises PBX or to the company's existing phone service providers.

"The combination of Fanvil door stations and our cloud platform offers the market a best-of-breed video intercom and access control line that requires minimal on-premises setup,” said Henry Castillo, chief technology officer of IPTECHVIEW. “Customers can access a full line of modern door stations and intercoms that will connect to their apartments, office phones or mobile devices with no on-premises servers.”

The setup provided by the two companies changed the process and economics of deploying this access control equipment. Tommy Lee, vice president of sales of North America, Fanvil, said that centralized provisioning and management will yield cost savings to partners who deploy and manage these solutions.

A yearly subscription will cover connectivity, routing calls and video, door opening signals, remote health monitoring and secure remote management access by the user IT team or the authorized technology partner.

Fanvil products are sold in the U.S. to installers by partner ABPTECH, which fulfills IPTECHVIEW-Ready pre-configured security cameras, access control solutions and Fanvil door stations.
