Smartronix a Part of Professional Services Now Inside AWS Marketplace

By Stefania Viscusi

AWS Marketplace, an online software store where customers can find the solutions they need to improve the services they run on AWS, recently announced professional service offerings within the AWS platform.

Professional Service listings in the AWS Marketplace mean companies can grow and innovate all from a single location. This also simplifies the procurement of assessments, implementation, support, managed services, and training.

Smartronix, an OceanSound Partners company that designs, builds, manages, and secures mission-critical cloud solutions, is one of the partners participating in this newly announced launch.

Customers can search AWS Marketplace to find a curated digital catalog of software, data, and services that make it easy to find, test, buy and deploy software and data products that run on AWS.

Smartronix products now listed include: cloud strategy, cloud migration, application transformation, FedRAMP, and DoD RMF Acceleration support, as well as FedRAMP- authorized Cloud Assured Managed Services (CAMS).

Rob Groat, Executive Vice President of Technology and Strategy at Smartronix said, “We are excited to be participating in this program. Working with AWS on programs like Professional Services in AWS Marketplace shows our focus and commitment to business and mission outcomes for our customers.”

This latest move in AWS Marketplace means sellers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Consulting Partners (CPs) are able to list, quote, and contract Professional Services associated with third-party software.

This will also streamline purchases and billing for customers as all purchases will now be included on their AWS bill and can put more focus into negotiating terms, scope, and pricing to meet their needs.

Earlier this year, Smartronix announced it was named a leader for the third time in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure Professional and Managed Services, Worldwide which honors those companies that have a “track record of successful delivery of high-quality professional and managed services that thoughtfully exploit the capabilities of the cloud platform.”

Joining with other managed services and cloud leaders at MSPEXPO June 21-25 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Part of the Tech Super Show, this conference will feature thousands of MSPs, MSSPs, and resellers from around the globe to network and share strategies. REGISTER NOW!
