Aruba EdgeConnect Becomes Part of TD Synnex Ecosystem

By Greg Tavarez

TD Synnex is known as a distributor and aggregator of solutions for the global IT ecosystem, as it claims to assist more than 150,000 clients in maximizing the value of their technology investments, displaying business outcomes, and unlocking opportunities for growth.

With an extensive portfolio that spans from edge-to-cloud and focuses on growing technology sectors, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data/analytics, IoT and mobility, the company is committed to unifying IT products, services and solutions from various technology vendors.

That reputation makes it almost impossible to pass up TD Synnex as a distributor of solutions, platforms, etc. Aruba, an HPE company, thought similarly and has chosen TD Synnex as a global distributor for the Aruba EdgeConnect platform.

Aruba helps customers by providing secure edge-to-cloud networking solutions. Aruba uses AI-based machine learning (ML) to deliver simpler, faster and more automated networks that analyze data to help businesses thrive

As for EdgeConnect, it is an SD-WAN solution that aims to enhance the performance and security of WANs for businesses and organizations. The comprehensive SD-WAN solution includes advanced features such as dynamic path control, quality of service and application-based policies, which optimize the performance of enterprise applications over any transport network, including the public internet.

To better summarize, by improving WAN performance, Aruba's EdgeConnect aims to help businesses operate more efficiently and effectively.

“The Aruba EdgeConnect platform delivers comprehensive solutions for global customers, and as such it’s vital we have a distribution partner that can support scaling at that level,” said Donna Grothjan, Vice President of Worldwide Channels for Aruba.

Distribution is led by the TD Synnex Global Solutions Team. Vince Stemen, Senior Vice President, Advanced Vendor Solutions at TD SYNNEX, says that the team allows its partners and vendors to deliver business outcomes at scale to multinational end users. This is achieved by “simplifying complex distribution channels, centralizing team support, and streamlining global distribution.”

Aruba EdgeConnect will be available through the TD Synnex global IT ecosystem, serving more than 150 countries worldwide.
