Ingram Micro Launches SIM to Cloud Solutions for U.S. Channel Partners

By Stefania Viscusi

Ingram Micro has announced a new B2B relationship with T-Mobile to increase adoption of SIM-to-Cloud solutions with the IT channel and across the nation's fast-growing SMB sector. .

Ingram Micro helps businesses with their technology needs by providing an IT ecosystem that helps businesses maximize the value of the technology they make, sell or use. Together with T-Mobile, Ingram Micro will help businesses understand the benefits of 5G and secure connectivity, while also speeding adoption of 5G solutions by simplifying the sales cycle for the IT channel and customers.

“Today’s businesses require modern networking solutions that are agile, flexible and reliable – allowing their teams and their customers to connect and engage securely almost anywhere at any time,” says George Fischer, senior vice president of sales, T-Mobile for Business.

The IT channel, which includes agents, sub-agents, MSPs and VARs, face challenges when it comes to securing and optimizing today’s workforce and workflows using public, private and hybrid cloud networks.

The partnership between Ingram Micro and T-Mobile brings fast, reliable connectivity to the thousands of Ingram Micro partners and their customers. As businesses continue to evolve their IT to both modernize operations and maximize today’s new workforce models, access to secure 5G connectivity is a must to ensure workers are able to be productive virtually anywhere.

Ingram Micro will now be able to offer its partners reference architectures for designing, constructing, and supporting solutions that combine T-Mobile's 5G spectrum with Ingram's infrastructure and cloud products.

“Executing against Ingram Micro’s stated SIM to Cloud strategy, we are excited to welcome T-Mobile and further enable our channel partners to capitalize on their existing datacenter and cloud expertise and create, market, sell and support new 5G business and service opportunities that businesses of all sizes are hungry for and need,” says Jeff Yelton, vice president and general manager, Infrastructure and Specialty Technologies, Ingram Micro.

Ingram Micro Cloud will be exhibiting at MSP Expo 2023, where MSPs and their customers will experience three days of education, networking, and business opportunities, specifically focused on the MSP community.  MSP Expo 2023 takes place February 14-17, 2023 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and is collocated alongside the other #TECHSUPERSHOW events, including ITEXPO, Future of Work Expo, IoT Evolution Expo, The Blockchain Event, and more.  Ingram Micro Cloud will be in booth #311 in the exhibit hall.
