Unifying Billing, Simplifying Offerings, and Streamlining Operations, Over the Wire Selects One Bill to Dramatically Improve Sales Channel Partner Enablement

The digital revolution has brought forth numerous innovative technologies that have added ease and optimization into the daily processes of both businesses and consumers. Technology has opened up new revenue pathways for organizations, with devices and applications offering a plethora of benefits that enhance multiple parts of their operations. Among these applications, one that has gained noticeable traction in virtually all industries is automation, and tools associated with the business application.

Business automation is the current term for the use of technology applications that perform repetitive tasks, freeing up employees for higher value work. This includes business process automation (BPA), robotic process automation (RPA) and AI-powered automation. The benefits offered by the technology cover a wide range, including higher productivity, reliability, availability, increased performance, and reduced operating costs, as moving to lights-out operations yields a good return on investment.

Even with these advantages, not all companies have adopted and implemented automation within their ranks. A recent survey of IT operators asked why they hadn’t automated their systems, with answers ranging from the expected to the uninformed. The most common answers were no money, no time, no coding expertise, or no staff. Overall, 57 percent of companies have not recognized the potential advantages of automation.

However, even the companies that have yet to implement, now today understand that automation is critical moving forward. 97 percent of organizations believe that business process automation is crucial for digital transformation. On top of this, the market itself is growing quite rapidly. The BPA market was valued at 9.8 billion USD in 2020, but experts predict that the market will more than double by 2026, arriving at a value of 19.6 billion USD.

These market numbers come as no surprise, as the benefits listed earlier are just some of the advantages automation can offer enterprises as a whole. Automation is even favorable from the employee side, with 90 percent of employees saying they feel burdened with repetitive and boring tasks that can be easily automated. Because of this, organizations are increasingly searching for the right automation tools for their unique needs, for the benefit of the employees, and the company as a whole.

Recently, Over the Wire, a leading Telecommunications and IT solution provider across Australia and New Zealand, announced they have chosen OneBill, an award winning Revenue Management platform, as their strategic partner to optimize their partner management and billing capabilities.

OneBill is an end-to-end billing and revenue management platform that has been widely adopted by Telecommunications and IT providers like Over the Wire. Through OneBill, businesses can easily scale complex product and pricing offers, automate the service activation process, accurately manage billing and accounts receivables, configure unique offers for partners/ resellers and provide a superior experience for customers through their subscription journey.

“The feedback we have had from our beta partners during testing has been really encouraging,” said Lani Edwards, General Manager- Partners & Wholesale, at Over The Wire. “Partners said this was a platform they could leverage to significantly improve their offerings to clients and provide significant differentiation in a crowded market. It’s really exciting to be leading the way in offering these capabilities to market under the brand of our NETSIP DASH platform.”

Over the Wire specialize in converged voice and data networks, cloud, and hosted infrastructure solutions for enterprise and wholesale clients. They believe in solutions that are designed specifically to accommodate unique client needs and contribute to positive business outcomes.

Prior to approaching OneBill, Over the Wire had recognized that due to their exponential growth, they needed a billing solution that could better integrate with their existing platforms, ingest large volumes of CDR files to ensure invoice accuracy, and enable them to efficiently manage their dealers, resellers, and wholesalers with flexible commissioning settlement.

Since implementing OneBill, Over the Wire now has an integrated billing solution, NETSIP DASH, to automate SIP trunk ordering, DID phone number allocations and number porting. Furthermore, they have been able to leverage OneBill’s advanced usage rating to process CDRs from their voice systems.

Another game changer for the business was being able to use OneBill’s Multi-Level-Channel-Management (MLCM) module to empower their dealers and wholesalers to white-label and brand their voice offerings, and to have flexible commissioning managed in real-time through the partner portal.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Over the Wire and also build new integrations that are mutually valuable to both businesses,” said JK Chelladurai, Founder and CEO of OneBill. “We look forward to further collaborating with their team to optimize features and integrations to ensure we have a bullet proof solution in place.”

For those interested in learning more, OneBill will in fact be showcasing their platform at the ITEXPO 2022 in Florida on June 21-24, 2022. The OneBill team will be found at Booth #649.
