ECI Moves Into Canada, Brings Managed IT Services for Financial Firms

By Stefania Viscusi

Managed services provider ECI has helped mid-market financial services businesses across the globe maintain peace of mind and security when it comes to their technology concerns. Now, the company has expanded into Canada to meet the increasing need for IT solutions in the region.

With new operations in Toronto, ECI will be positioned right in the center of the second biggest financial centers in North America and offer support for some of the largest mid-market financial firms.

These firms are working to meet client needs and require a partner who can help them simplify IT demands, while also supporting digital transformations. ECI provides exactly what these financial firms need, as an MSP with years of proven experience providing complete IT solutions which increase cost efficiency and productivity, while boosting security and stability for businesses.

More specifically, ECI provides a complete portfolio of managed IT services, cybersecurity offerings and business transformation assistance.

Commenting on the expansion, client Ryan Gonsalves, CFA, Chief Operating Officer for ADI Capital Partners, said,  “We’ve been a client for about five years, but I was familiar with the brand prior, having heard many positive reviews in conversations I had with CTOs.”

“What drew us in was the scalable nature, that ECI’s services could grow along with our business, and that we’d have true expert support, 24x7. They’ve augmented our IT team, acted as an outsourced CIO, and shifted our CAPEX to a lower variable cost. They’re also the type of company you want on your side when you’re trying to raise capital – high quality partners matter.”

ECI had a phenomenal period of growth and expansion and this move builds upon that. From a rebranding to strategic acquisitions, company representatives said their customers in Canada have been interested in their services for some time, and making their presence official was the right move.

“As companies grow and move upstream, they have greater needs. As they increase their footprint, they require services and support to span geographies. With our familiarity, comprehensive offerings and ability to scale, we are in an ideal position to enable the financial mid-market to execute successful business transformations globally,” said David Andrade, CEO of ECI.
