Masergy Announces Acceptance of Channel Excellence Award

Masergy Communications Inc. this week announced that it has received yet another industry accolade. Recently the company’s Global Partner Program was recognized with a 2016 INTERNET TELEPHONY Channel Excellence Award.

Masergy delivers hybrid networking, managed security, and cloud communication solutions to global enterprises. The company’s channel program provides partners with such benefits as future-proof technology that ensures long-term customer value, competitive compensation on all deals and renewals, support with a dedicated account team throughout the customer lifecycle, ongoing technology and product training, and fully co-branded events and collateral.

The company launched its partner program in 2011. The program now has 293 partners. The channel program is managed by Chuck Ward, and Masergy recently announced the promotions of Bill Madison to vice president of the strategic partner program and Kristy Thomas as vice president of cloud communications.

“Masergy is in close collaboration with our channel partners to develop joint marketing strategies that continue to produce revenue-growth opportunities,” said Ward, Masergy’s global channel vice president. “We are honored that TMC and INTERNET TELEPHONY have recognized our technology, customizable solutions, and unparalleled customer support as among the best in the industry.”

INTERNET TELEPHONY Channel Excellence Award winners included AireSpring for the AireSpring Channel Sales Division; Broadview Networks for the Broadview Networks Partner Program; Calabrio for the Calabrio Partner Program; Digium Inc. for the Digium Partner Program; Fonality for the Fonality Channel Partner Program; Grandstream Networks Inc. for the Grandstream Certified Partner Program; Sonus for Sonus Partner Assure; Star2Star Communications LLC for The Star2Star Channel Partner Program; Talkdesk for the Talkdesk Partner Program; Vonage Holdings Corp. for the Vonage Channel Program; and XO Communications for the XO Partner Channel Program. This marks the third year of the INTERNET TELEPHONY Channel Excellence Awards, for which the number of applications and award categories continue to multiply.

As for Masergy, it marks just the latest award. In another recent recognition for Masergy, CRN select Ward as a 2016 Channel Chief.
