Long-time Polycom systems integrator and MSP, Carousel Industries, has been named 2013 Polycom Systems Integrator of North America. The Rhode Island company specializes in managed technology solutions as well as consulting and integration services.

Carousel provides managed data, unified communications, voice, video and cloud solutions to its more than 6,000 customers. These include Polycom’s HD videoconferencing, voice conferencing and telepresence offerings.

Polycom provides standards-based video collaboration solutions, and honors its partners for their results in deploying and managing offerings. The company looks at execution and performance as well as business results, success of customers after installation and the overall commitment of its partners in co-developing solutions.

“Partners are a critical component of Polycom's success,” said Mike Conlon, vice president of worldwide channels, Polycom. “Together, we serve a diverse customer base with unique challenges to solve. Our combined efforts help them succeed and together we will continue to drive growth and broader adoption of Polycom's video, voice and content solutions.”

“Carousel remains committed to integration so we can provide an unparalleled customer experience in each of our focused business practices including data, unified communications, voice, video, cloud and services,” added James Marsh, senior vice president of sales, Carousel Industries.

Carousel has gotten off to a great start in 2014, with Microsoft awarding the company a Communications Gold Competency for the second year in a row. The recognition is based on the company’s expertise in Microsoft communications and collaboration solutions. The company succeeded in increasing Microsoft-related sales by more than 200 percent last year, largely based on Microsoft Lync offerings.
