Apparatus Announces SharePoint Managed Services Guide for Customers

By Laura Stotler

Apparatus, a global MSP, has released a SharePoint Managed Services Guide specifically designed to provide customers with the best SharePoint experience possible. The guide features a quiz to help customers evaluate their Microsoft SharePoint environments and determine if the collaboration platform is a proper fit for their specific company requirements.

The new guide lets customers determine if the platform is indeed a good match for their needs and also provides suggestions for self-analysis. The document also helps customers examine the costs of utilizing an MSP to manage their SharePoint environments and ultimately evaluates if the platform is making work life easier for clients.

“We often see SharePoint underutilized when we walk into a new client situation,” said Aman Brar, president of Apparatus. “SharePoint can and should work for how your company needs to work. It can increase efficiencies and be effective across the board. We can leverage SharePoint to that advantage of success for companies.”

Microsoft’s wildly popular collaboration platform is the company’s bread and butter, bringing in somewhere in the neighborhood of $2 billion per year in revenues. Microsoft also purports two out of three enterprise workers use SharePoint, with the company making a number of noteworthy enhancements to the platform over the last couple of years. These include integration of the Yammer enterprise social network for enhanced collaboration, as well as extensive enhancements to the SharePoint Online service.

MSPs have seized on the massive opportunities SharePoint affords, with many boasting extensive experience deploying and managing the platform. Apparatus falls into that category, with the company ranking among the top five percent of MSPs throughout the word and also included on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies.

The new SharePoint Managed Services Guide examines all aspects of SharePoint, including fixes, upgrades and outages. It suggests training opportunities for users and also evaluates which tools users should be taking advantage of to better foster collaboration. Finally, the guide examines workflow and offers guidelines on how to best utilize SharePoint.
