Wheelings & Dealings: ANEXIO Continues Rapid Expansion with Acquisition of MSP Pragmatix

By Laura Stotler

Maintaining a rapid pace of growth and expansion, MSP ANEXIO Technology Services, Inc. has acquired the assets of MSP Pragmatix. The company provides a full suite of managed IT and cloud computing solutions in the metro NYC region that will nicely complement ANEXIO’s offerings.

ANEXIO has been busy scooping up companies in Florida and the mid-Atlantic region and has now moved even farther north. Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, the MSP delivers managed IT services to companies in a number of industries, including financial services, healthcare, technology, media and professional services.

The company acquired Maryland MSP DocuTech last month, with a specialization in creating custom services to meet specific customer requirements and blend with company culture. In December, ANEXIO bought out Florida-based cloud services and MSP BluWater Technologies, Inc. That company specializes in serving SMBs requiring high availability, performance and security.

“This acquisition will insure that Pragmatix’s clients can continue to receive the outstanding support they have been accustomed to, plus benefit from the additional innovative cloud and IT services from a much larger organization,” said Bill Abram, president of Pragmatix.

“Pragmatix brings an impressive list of clients, including Fortune 500 firms, most benefiting from the company’s robust data center centric offerings,” added Tony Pompliano, CEO of ANEXIO. “Pragmatix’s cloud and IT services expertise will be integrated into the ANEXIO expanding portfolio of technology services.”

ANEXIO provides a broad range of services, primarily geared toward smaller companies. The company is working to expand into the medium and enterprise markets as well. Offerings include IT infrastructure management, networking and telecommunications services, security and backup and recovery offerings. The MSP also provides managed mobility, hosting and colocation services and cloud services including support for Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint and CRM and BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
