Cirrity Receives Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Certification

By Laura Stotler

Cirrity has been certified by Cisco for its ability to sell and deliver cloud and managed services. The MSP has received Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Certification for providing services that help its customers accelerate time to market and time to revenue.

The certification is designed to honor Cisco partners for their efforts in creating, selling and delivering cloud and managed services while providing financial incentives and go-to-market benefits. Cirrity was ultimately chosen for its expertise as well as significant investments in the cloud and managed services space.

Cirrity provides a variety of “as a service” solutions, including vStream disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS), remote desktop-as-service (DaaS) and hybrid cloud IaaS solutions. The MSP aids its customers through sales solutions, deployment assistance and technical support to help them to ultimately sell more cloud services.

The service provider joins EarthLink, which received Cisco’s Cloud and Managed Services Certification last month. The companies are part of a general transformation traditional ISPs are undergoing as they move toward the cloud delivery model. As the cloud gains traction and adoption and its revenue and scalability benefits for MSPs and their customers become more apparent, an increasing number of service providers are offering their solutions on an “as-a-service” basis, often through a “pay-as-you-go” model.

"Cirrity demonstrated to Cisco that we have the superior service and security necessary to participate in the CMSP program," said Andrew Albrecht, COO of Cirrity. "The CMSP designation enables Cirrity partners to differentiate their offerings and achieve a competitive edge in the enterprise marketplace, all while improving profitability."

The CMSP designation enables Cirrity to offer Cisco powered services built on the ITIL framework, as well as basic management capabilities in support of Cisco technologies. The company has also received the Cisco Powered services designation for enabling customers to connect to the cloud more quickly by minimizing the overall technology lifecycle.
