Managed service provider Rage Frameworks, Inc., which specializes in business process automation and solutions for managing big data, has received an undisclosed investment from Kayne Partners. The companies are working together to expand Rage's business and solutions.
Rage offers complete solutions by combining business process automation and big data analytics and delivering platform-based services on a subscription basis. The MSP aims to enable its enterprise clients to automate their manual business processes as well as use analytics to better inform their operations and decisions.
The patented LiveBPA engine from Rage helps customers accelerate their time to market and also dynamically scale technology costs effectively to meet changing business needs. It relies on a metadata driven service oriented architecture to implement business processes through visual modeling, without any coding necessary. The offering creates a structural model of a business process and its relationship to software components, simplifying and reducing redundancies and extra costs.
Earlier this month, the company launched its GYAN Enterprise Big Data Platform. It is designed to integrate structured and unstructured content along with transactional and analytics functions and internal and external sources in one integrated platform. The solution may be used for a variety of vertical markets, and works in real time to interpret and analyze millions of global events.
"We are proud to have the support of Kayne Partners at this important juncture in Rage's growth," said Venkat Srinivasan, CEO of Rage. "Our partnership will enable Rage to significantly expand its sales and marketing investments and continue to develop its pioneering technology in service of its customers. We are particularly pleased with how our vision is aligned with Kayne Partners' strategy in managed services."
"We have been following the business process automation space and big data market for a while now, and Rage is unique in combining automation and analytic into their solutions," said Nishita Pawar, a vice president of Kayne Partners. "We are excited to be partnering with Rage and believe that they are a market leader through innovation and excellence."
