Stratalux Awarded AWS Partner Network MSP Competency

To recognize the company for providing one of the most flexible, scalable and reliable solutions built on the public cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has awarded managed services provider (MSP) Stratalux with the AWS Partner Network MSP Competency.

Stratalux, which also offers private platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions, attained specific competencies in the managed services space based on AWS’s standards. The Los Angeles-based company was awarded the AWS Partner Network MSP Competency because of its continued expertise in providing managed services for solutions built on top of Amazon Web Services, according to Jeremy Przygode, CEO of Stratalux.

“Successfully managing infrastructures built on public cloud resources like AWS require specific skills that Stratalux provides,” Przygode said in a statement. “Being honored with Amazon’s AWS Partner Network MSP Competency validates our singular focus on building, migrating and managing our customer infrastructures on public cloud resources like AWS.”

The company’s goal is to provide a seamless transition to the cloud and superior support to customers so they can focus on the more important aspects of their business, he added.

Stratalux offers cloud computing solutions and provides managed services of infrastructures built upon Amazon Web Services for enterprise customers, such as The Active Network.

The company’s managed services for AWS have allowed The Active Network to scale the firm’s operations and provided expertise in managing the public cloud, according to Greg Ingino, senior vice president of global technology operations at The Active Network.

“Their services filled the gap we had with AWS and enabled us to augment our team while still utilizing our own internal IT processes and controls. This enabled us to better, and more quickly, respond to business needs within the organization,” Ingino said.

Recognizing that pricing projects built on top of Amazon Web Services can be confusing and challenging, in May Stratalux announced the release of a free Excel spreadsheet that allows users of AWS to price out, optimize and run what-if scenarios on their cloud projects.

Stratalux’s AWS Pricing Tool complements Amazon’s own online calculator, but it allows users to use familiar tools like Microsoft’s Excel.
