Small- and medium-sized (SMBs) tend to have the smallest amount of IT staff in place, if they have employees in place at all with this division. Rather than suffering from poor performance, malware attacks and downtime, many SMBs are turning to MSPs.
Fusion Technology Solutions is one of those MSPs, especially now that it unveiled its new Fusion Complete Care Program. The idea is maintain top network and computer performance while getting rid of most computer problems.
“Unlike other computer consultants who profit from the failures of an IT environment, our purpose is to prevent computer problems from escalating into unexpected downtime, data loss, interruptions in business, and financial loss,” argued Scott Schulze, founder and president of Fusion Technology Solutions. “The Fusion Complete Care Program provides the SMB with all the computer network maintenance and support they need for one low, fixed monthly rate without any surprises, hidden costs, or the expense of keeping in-house IT staff.”
In an interesting twist, there is another MSP with almost the exact same name, except it is Fusion Technology Solutions Group. The new service from Fusion Technology Solutions (with no Group) starts with an engineer doing a survey of the site that includes a network audit. Once the deal is set, the MSP then monitors that network 24x7. There is also a personal touch. “Each month a technician will conduct a thorough audit and tune up of the company’s network. Every three months, Fusion will conduct on-site performance reviews, providing an extensive analysis of network trends, security, and performance. This quarterly review allows Fusion to make specific recommendations for improving network performance, office productivity, and help plan and budget for future IT needs,” the MSP explained.
Here is what Fusion Complete Care Program comes with, according to the company:
- Break-fix services
- Unlimited help desk support
- Year-end technology review
- Guaranteed two hour response to technical problems
- Virus definition and security patch updates
- Virus removal and cleaning
- Monthly executive summary report
- Unlimited software upgrades (labor only)
- Spyware monitoring and removal
- Adding and removing users
- Vendor liaison services
- Cloud off-site backup service and storage
- Cloud-based anti-virus
The SMB space is poised to grow strongly, at least according to research from Techaisle, who says “The SMB Managed Services market will grow from $27B to $44B between 2012 and 2016, compounding at over 12 percent. Remote management monitoring services will cross $15B during the same time period.”
The researchers also find that it is easier to sell to large SMBs because these companies have more complex environments and needs. “While the adoption varies by service, a “safe” rather than a sweet spot to target are businesses with 20 – 249 employees,” Techaisle argued.
