Redcentric Announces 2 Managed Services Contracts Worth $3.3M

By Laura Stotler

U.K. company Redcentric, a managed service provider (MSP) offering technology to improve business productivity and efficiency, has announced two new contracts. The multi-year contracts are worth around $3.3 million and involve an automotive company and a charitable organization.

The first contract encompasses three years of managed network and cloud services for an automotive company. The deal is valued at around $1.65 million in total, with nearly $1 million in net new business. It is a renewal and expansion of a previous, long-term network contract.

Redcentric will be providing additional data center and network management services to the automotive company through the contract, aligned with the customer's ambitious expansion plans. The second five-year contract covers cloud-based managed services for the charity, and is worth approximately $1.65 million. Redcentric will use its resilient cloud infrastructure to provide and manage a complete hosted virtual infrastructure for the organization, in addition to delivering application layer services.

The MSP offers a variety of locations throughout the U.K., as well as a data center network spread throughout Europe. Redcentric also provides a reliable core MPLS network and offers 24/7 network operations centers. The company's services include mainframe, Oracle and application acceleration solutions in addition to security services including firewall, encryption and network security.

Collaboration services include IP telephony, video conferencing, unified communications, cloud contact center and telephony offerings. Infrastructure offerings include IaaS, SaaS, network monitoring, virtualization, hosted desktop and backup services.

"I am pleased to see two more significant and interesting annuity contracts awarded to Redcentric," said Fraser Fisher, chief operating officer at Redcentric. "The first of these contracts has grown significantly in scope as a direct result of the successful business transformation that created Redcentric. The second is testament to Redcentric’s compelling, client-tailored cloud offering. These contracts demonstrate Redcentric’s success in delivering services aligned to customer needs, utilizing tried and tested processes across the commercial, public sector and charitable sectors.”
