ProSource Chooses Continuum Managed Services Platform and Acquires MSP Infitech to Enter Managed Services Market

By Laura Stotler

Managed services provider (MSP) ProSource has chosen the Continuum integrated managed services platform for its outsourced IT software and service delivery. In tandem with the selection, ProSource also acquired Infitech, an IT MSP as well as a Continuum partner.

The new deal kicks off ProSource's foray into the managed services space and enables the newly combined MSP to offer comprehensive office technology and IT services to SMBs via a single-source solution. The MSP was assisted by consultant Growth Achievement Partners (GAP), which helped them with business model development and will also assist in the sales and operational integration of the new entity.

"The rapidly converging office technology and managed services market presents a tremendous opportunity for dealers who understand that gaining first mover advantage means partnering with the right technology provider who can offer advanced software, deep expertise, and comprehensive services to drive market entry and accelerate growth," said Brad Cates, president and CEO, ProSource.

Cates added, "Because of their commitment to and success with the Continuum platform, we came to the conclusion that Infitech gives us instant operational capabilities to build on our office technology strengths and become the clear leader in IT managed services serving the tri-state area."

"Continuum has played a vital part in our growth and success to date," said Jeffrey Loeb, president, Infitech commented. "We are excited to join the ProSource team and help them deliver a single-source solution that simplifies management operations, reduces costs and maximizes productivity for our clients."

The deal marks the second major coup for Continuum this week, with the company announcing a software integration with VaultLogix aimed at MSPs. That deal lets service providers use the Continuum RMM solution to monitor the VaultLogix Advantage Cloud Backup and Recovery service.

"Partnering with ProSource and Infitech is a perfect example of how combining the complementary strengths of three growth-oriented companies can lead to an accelerated market leadership position in IT managed services that is the envy of other office dealers," concluded Michael Amiri, director, office equipment industry at Continuum.
