VoIP Logic Adds Loki Solutions to Suite of Managed VoIP Services

By Laura Stotler

The Loki Provisioning and Loki Portals from Leonid Systems have been added to VoIP Logic's suite of managed services. The company provides best-of-breed VoIP technology as a managed service to voice service providers.

The Loki solutions include OSS and web portal components. Loki Provisioning has dramatically streamlined provisioning in more than 50 service provider deployments, from site survey through to customer activation. The Loki Portals solution enables service providers to offer their end users a graphically driven interface along with intuitive tools for managing individual phone service. Users may also complete MAC-D administrative tasks through Enterprise tools.

VoIP Logic's suite of managed VoIP services includes solutions from a number of vendors. BroadSoft's Broadworks is used for PBX applications, while the Acme Packet Net-Net SBC from Oracle Communications is used for access side border controls. SIP monitoring is provided through the Palladion Control Plane Monitor, VoIP peering is achieved using Genband's SBC and Cisco technology is offered for data networking.

“Loki software will significantly improve our aggregate offering by, again, adding a leading technology that meets a specific set of service provider needs,” said Micah Singer, VoIP Logic CEO. “Not only is Loki a well conceived and executed software package, it has also been specifically requested by over a dozen of our Service Provider customers as the de facto leader for Hosted PBX provisioning and end user self-care with the BroadWorks application server.”

“With VoIP Logic’s laser focus on technology-as-a-service for smaller and medium-sized Hosted PBX deployments, working with them allows us to access a new segment of the Service Provider market,” added Jan Lindner, CEO of Leonid Systems. “We are excited to help competitive service providers create compelling and innovative offers using our solutions.”

“Our customers have operationally complicated voice deployments," said Ed Fineran, president of Atlantech Online, a VoIP Logic customer. "Providing a strong self-service interface meets the administrative requirements of their rapidly changing environment. The VoIP Logic managed services platform has been solid. Now, coupled with Leonid’s technology, it will allow our customers to more easily and intuitively perform highly complicated self-care which makes our service stickier and more competitive.”
