Axxera and SISAP Partner to Bring Managed Security Services to Central America

By Laura Stotler

Bringing managed security services to the Central American market is the focus of a new partnership between Axxera and SISAP, the companies announced. SISAP, an information security provider in the Central American region, launched its Managed Security Services offering in Guatemala City, Guatemala to kick off the campaign.

The new SISAP managed security services are powered by the Axxera Central Intelligence Platform. Together, the solution offers customers scalable and cost efficient managed security services. Clients also have access to Security Operations Center (SOC) Services through the partnership.

The Central Intelligence Platform from Axxera offers a variety of features geared toward managed service providers (MSPs). These include: correlation; integrated ticketing, security and compliance reporting; ITIL framework; and a Spanish Portal. The platform also helps reduce the amount of time needed to identify and mitigate advanced attacks frequently observed in the global cyber environment.

The Central Intelligence iSIEM also offers deep visibility into network, application and user activity to give customers intelligence into potential and existing threats across the system, application and network layers. iSIEM is built on the Central Intelligence Platform, and enables customers to change and scale in support of growing infrastructure security while also delivering a common user experience across an entire organization.

“Axxera is uniquely positioned as a product enabled security service provider that can enable quick time to market, for service providers looking to add Managed Security Services to their product portfolio,” said Bhaskar Sayyaparaju, CTO of Axxera.

“In the region we have seen an increase in information risk management maturity, where it becomes necessary to detect and rapidly respond to information security incidents," said Mauricio Nanne, president and CEO of SISAP. "[With t]he alliance with Axxera and our support of more than 50 process, product and security service engineers, we will provide in Central America a world class managed security service at prices aligned to the economies of our region.”
