AppsPeri Adds Cloud Computing Management to AppsComplete On-Demand Solution

By Laura Stotler

A cloud computing management component has been added to AppsComplete On-Demand from AppsPeri, LLC. The solution now enables global Oracle customers to host, maintain and optimize JD Edwards enterprise applications through cloud computing.

The AppsComplete offering is managed within AppsPeri's hybrid cloud, so that customers are kept up and running while the company also offers technical support and enhanced business consulting services. The solution provides deployment planning, purchasing, shipping, installation staff training and support of critical operational technologies to AppsPeri customers in a variety of specific industries.

AppsPeri hosts and manages its customers' hardware operating systems, as well as Oracle JD Edwards applications. AppsComplete acts as a complementary service in support of that objective. The company focuses on serving small- to mid-size businesses in North America, Asia and Europe. It specializes in several industries, including professional services, manufacturing and distribution, food and beverage, agribusiness, retail and apparel, engineering and construction, consumer product goods and life sciences.

The goal of AppsPeri services is to help guide customers through the technical, organizational and process changes needed to implement their Oracle JD Edwards business solutions. Clients benefit from the company's flexible approach and may choose from a large scope of services to meet their specific goals and budget.

“Cutting ongoing costs such as hardware, servers, databases, collocation and elimination of the need to recruit, train and retain experienced staff typically leads to a 30 percent [increase] in annual savings,” said Tak Fujii, chief technology officer at AppsPeri. Fujii added that customers using the AppsComplete solution will benefit by earning more value from their hosting and managed services.
