Logicalis Appoints CFO to Serve at Newly Opened New York City Headquarters

By Laura Stotler

Managed service provider (MSP) Logicalis has appointed Nathan Fong as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Fong will work in the brand new NYC headquarters for the international IT solutions company.

The new Logicalis CFO will be tasked with bridging strategy and operational day-to-day processes, as well as providing executive direction and oversight for the company's U.S. finance, accounting, tax and strategic planning functions.

Fong will also oversee the company's banking and auditing relationships, while heading up Logicalis' domestic growth initiatives.

“Logicalis is an exceptional organization with an enviable portfolio of solutions and services,” said Fong. “It is an honor to have been chosen to help drive the company’s future success in the U.S., and I look forward to becoming an integral part of the Logicalis team.”

As a certified public accountant, Fong has spent more than 20 years in executive finance, serving a number of industries, from publishing and entertainment to digital media and mobile Internet. He was recently the CFO and COO for Motricity, a provider of mobile Internet services.

He also filled dual CFO/interim CEO roles for direct-to-consumer Internet search marketing company, Atrinsic, Inc.

Fong has also served as CFO for digital media services company, The Orchard Enterprise Inc., publisher Rodale International and media and entertainment company Discovery Networks International. He worked as divisional vice president of global finance for Twentieth Century Fox as well.

“Nathan has an extensive background in finance coupled with an impressive roster of leadership positions in a variety of industries spanning both large and small organizations," said Vince DeLuca, CEO at Logicalis US. "These experiences have given him a unique business perspective and expansive view of the market as a whole. I am pleased to welcome Nathan to the Logicalis US executive team.”

Logicalis just announced the company had moved its headquarters from Farmington Hills, MI to New York City, in midtown Manhattan. With annualized worldwide revenue of more than $1.4 billion, Logicalis specializes in managed communications and collaboration services, as well as data center and cloud solutions.
