MSP Logicalis Tackles East Coast by Relocating Headquarters to New York City

By Laura Stotler

Managed services provider (MSP) Logicalis has taken a bite out of the Big Apple. The IT solutions company announced it has relocated its U.S. headquarters to New York City from Farmington Hills, MI.

The new office and Eastbound move is meant to expand the company's East Coast presence, as well as facilitate face-to-face interactions with major partners and customers. Logicalis stressed that the move will not impact business in Michigan or the company's existing Michigan staff.

The company's new headquarters are in the heart of Manhattan at One Penn Plaza. The location will provide a showcase for Logicalis' communications and collaboration technologies by offering full telepresence capabilities.

The move will also help the MSP grow its international customer base.

“Relocating our headquarters to New York City will facilitate business communications with our major partners and clients who have both US and international operations, giving us a more accessible location in which to meet in person to strengthen and enhance those relationships,” said Vince DeLuca, CEO at Logicalis US. “Additionally, the expansion of our existing footprint in New York solidifies our commitment to serving customers throughout the United States on a coast-to-coast basis and determinedly grows our presence along the Eastern seaboard.”

The new location will be home to the MSP's core corporate leaders, including the CEO, CFO and sales senior vice president. The sales and marketing department will also be located there, along with key practice leaders.

The existing Logicalis New York City sales office has also been combined with the new headquarters.

Logicalis specializes in managed and cloud services with a variety of communications, collaboration and data center offerings. The MSP has nearly 3,500 employees throughout the world, and serves almost 6,000 customers.

The Logicalis Group is a division of Datatec Limited.
