TraceSecurity Announces New Partner Program for Cloud-Based GRC Solutions

By Laura Stotler

Cloud-based IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions provider, TraceSecurity, has announced its new partner program. The TraceSecurity Partner Program offers resellers a variety of incentives and revenue opportunities, and helps partners offer their customers a cloud-based, comprehensive risk-based information security program, as well as other services.

The new program is aimed at managed service providers (MSP), consultants, auditors and resellers, and gives them an easy way to provide comprehensive security services as well as IT GRC products. The TraceCSO solution from TraceSecurity is a cloud offering providing a holistic, risk-based information security program. It offers comprehensive visibility and accountability for improved risk and compliance profiles across all areas of an organization, including cloud environments.

Using the TraceCSO solution, organizations of any size, industry or security skillset may evaluate, create, implement and manage a risk-based information security program. This helps them to protect their customers from information security risks, including cloud security and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) risk factors.

Benefits of the new program include sales and marketing support, technical training, a tiered discount structure, free evaluation software and deal registration. The program also provides flexible levels of participation and partnership, including a Referral Level for those who want to participate in revenue sharing with minimum effort.

The Reseller Level offers greater opportunities, and partners may also participate in multiple levels simultaneously.

“While TraceSecurity has an excellent direct sales force, the natural progression of all great companies is to leverage the channel,” said Alan Fortier, newly hired director of channel sales at TraceSecurity. “With the launch of this new program, I expect that within the next two to three years that more than 50 percent of our revenue will come from the channel. This is because TraceSecurity provides opportunities for partners to capitalize on the evolving security market by delivering the innovative TraceCSO solution, enabling channel partners to offer unique services for managing an information security program including risk management, vulnerability scanning, policies, training, compliance and auditing.”

“The security vulnerabilities of medium-sized organizations are as great, if not greater, than large organizations, yet SMBs have not had a comprehensive, cost-effective tool like TraceCSO to help them map their security strategy,” said Ken Leeser, president of Kaliber Data Security, a Boston-based partner. “TraceSecurity is focused on the SMB marketplace and is committed to working with the channel. We view TraceCSO as the lead solution to help justify the implementation of our security offerings. Using TraceCSO, we can map threat and compliance requirements, determine mitigating controls, and identify additional products and services needs after we help our clients define a comprehensive security strategy."
