MSP NetGain Technologies Achieves 43 Percent Growth in 2012; Celebrates Managed Services Sales Director

By Laura Stotler

Managed services provider (MSP) NetGain Technologies, a family owned business in Lexington, KY, is celebrating Brendan Jacobson's fifth anniversary with the company. The MSP offers a broad range of managed IT solutions including design, implementation and management of IT networks and systems.

NetGain's products and services are geared toward small-sized companies up to Fortune 500 enterprises and are designed to help customers maximize efficiency and net profits. Jacobson is director of managed services sales at NetGain and heads a dedicated Technology OneSource team.

The MSP's Technology OneSource program grew by 43 percent in 2012, and is expected to continue a dynamic growth pattern this year. Jacobson has been integral in expanding the company's managed services program as well as establishing NetGain as a leading service provider in its region.

Expanded services include adding 24x7 support which clients may choose as an upgrade to support their business initiatives. NetGain hired seven remote systems engineers to fulfill this service obligation. The MSP has grown from a single office to employing more than 130 people in Lexington and Louisville, KY; Little Rock, AR; Chattanooga, TN; and Cincinnati, OH.

"We are now into the 3rd generation of this family owned business that strives to create happy clients through effective technology solutions,” said Mark Jacobson, CEO of NetGain. "It’s wonderful to see Brendan earn a major role in the company after years of doing everything from stuffing envelopes to generating sales; he learned the business from the ground up."

“I am proud to be part of the NetGain family and work at such a wonderful business with great people," said Brendan Jacobson. "NetGain has come a long way since my grandfather founded it in 1984. The future looks bright for us and I am excited for our continued growth. More importantly, I am excited to serve our clients and help them be more efficient with our Technology OneSource program.”

Recently, NetGain has focused on strategic partnerships with a number of top manufacturers. These include Cisco, HP, Microsoft, EMC and VMware. The MSP leverages these partnerships to provide a variety of IT solutions to organizations of all sizes, across a broad range of industries.
