Digital Hands CEO Appointed a TSIA Managed Services Discipline Founding Member

By Kasey Schefflin-Emrich

Global managed security services provider Digital Hands recently named Charlotte Baker, the company's CEO, as a founding member of the Technology Services Industry Association Managed Services discipline.

As a founding member of this discipline, which was developed to provide TSIA members with the best practices necessary to operate a successful managed services business through benchmarking, peer collaboration, conference participation, webinars and whitepapers, Baker will be responsible for giving her input and feedback on the establishment of the benchmark study.

“It’s a privilege to serve as a founding member of the TSIA Managed Services discipline at a time when the managed services market is experiencing explosive growth,” Baker said in a statement. “I look forward to working with other thought leaders in the discipline to help TSIA members navigate this market. Our goal is to provide them with the expert insights and education they will need to achieve success.”

TSIA members include executives, managers and professionals in the services market around the world.

Baker is already a member of the TSIA Support Services Advisory Board, a position she was appointed to last March. The board works with TSIA executive management to enhance the Support Services discipline, the operating results of support services businesses and support services careers.

“We are honored to include Digital Hands’ Charlotte Baker as a founding member of the TSIA Managed Services discipline,” Thomas Lah, executive director of TSIA, said in a statement. “Managed services are moving rapidly to the forefront of the business environment as an increasingly significant strategic revenue line. We look forward to working with Ms. Baker and the additional founding members as we establish and achieve best practices within this key service discipline.”

In related news, Digital Hands recently appointed Mark T. Geary as its chief services officer. Geary will be responsible with delivering efficient customer experiences.
