CyberPower Systems Attains VMware Ready Status with PowerPanel Business Edition

By Laura Stotler

Power protection and distribution equipment company, CyberPower Systems Inc., has achieved VMware Ready status. The company's PowerPanel Business Edition received the designation, which indicates the solution has been given the highest level of endorsement by VMware, and can be found on the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX).

The VMware Ready program is designed to make it easy for customers to identify partner products that are certified to work with the VMware cloud infrastructure. The program is a co-branding effort between VMware and the Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program, featuring best-in-breed technology partners with a shared commitment to bringing the highest level of expertise and business solutions to customers.

The PowerPanel Business Edition from CyberPower, a proprietary management software solution, may now be found on the VSX, along with other certified products. The Exchange helps make products and solutions more readily accessible to customers to help them lower their project costs and realize cost savings over custom-built solutions.

The VMware TAP initiative has thousands of members worldwide.

“With CyberPower PowerPanel Business Edition attaining VMware Ready status, CyberPower continues its strategy to provide customers with feature-rich tools designed to support the ever-changing IT space, working with VMware to ensure dependable business continuity,” said Tim Derochie, director of product management at CyberPower Systems.

“We are pleased that CyberPower’s PowerPanel Business Edition qualifies for the VMware Ready logo, signifying to customers that it works effectively with VMware vSphere, and can be deployed in production with confidence,” added Sheryl Sage, director, Alliance Programs, VMware.

CyberPower specializes in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution units (PDU), remote management hardware and a variety of accessories within the power protection space. The company is geared toward the enterprise, corporate, government, education and small office/home office markets.

CyberPower has distribution centers in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
